With 17 years of hands-on experience in the health and fitness industry and 14 years owning and directing one of Australia's most progressive health and fitness Companies, Dave Owen has a definite vision for the future.
Dave's vision was to create a level of service that has never before been seen in the health and fitness industry: to create a facility so complete in its products and services that it would offer the client every opportunity to achieve their goals.
Drawing on both this vision and his experience with elite sporting organisations such as the Victorian Institute of Sport, Triathlon Victoria and the Australian Olympic Sailing team Dave, together with long time business partner Frank Smarrelli created One Personal Health Brighton.
Damien Rayson

Senior One Personal Health Brighton Personal Trainer
Damien Rayson has been working at One Personal Health Brighton for three years. He is a senior trainer and admired by his peers and customers for having a great attitude, energy and positive outlook on life.
Damien completed in various sports throughout his life. He currently plays for the Coburg Tigers in the VFL and has also represented Australia and his state through the Victorian Amateur Football League.
Damien specialises in strength and conditioning and overall wellbeing.
Jodie Nascarella

Jodie has been a Personal Trainer since completing her Bachelor of Applied Science - Human Movement in 2001. Fitness has always been her passion and Jodie's workouts have three points of focus; technique, variety and education.
Jodie is a big believer in challenging clients' stability and balance and making strength progressions whilst maintaining great posture.
Jodie believes that strength and mobility are vital to enhancing your everyday life and leisure pursuits. Further studies undertaken by Jodie include; Level 1 Boxing: Advanced Musculoskeletal Screening & Assessment: Ball Revolution: Scientific Rotation Training: Twist Conditioning Sports Strength Level 1: Twist Conditioning Sports Balance Level 1: and Twist Conditioning Sports Movement Level 1.
Wayne Rodgers

One Personal Health Brighton Sports Physiotherapist
Wayne is a sports physiotherapist and personal trainer with 20 years experience in the health and fitness industries.
He has been a sports physiotherapist for several national and international sporting teams, including the Australian Netball team and the Australian Commonwealth Games team. Currently based at One Personal Health and Olympic Park Sports Medicine Centre, Wayne is also a regular presenter on corporate, sports physiotherapy and personal training seminars.
Wayne has a special interest in highly functional and effective training techniques and promotes the development of high performance through a combination of expert management and personal empowerment.
Kristina Smarelli

Personal Training Manager
Kristina joined the one personal health team in 1999 as a Fitness Trainer. Kristina holds a certificate III and IV in Fitness and has completed training at thump boxing. Kristina has had a vast amount of experience in many areas of personal training, specialising in weight loss, kids fitness, boxing and abdominal function with a special interest in nutrition. Kristina has a love for exercise and a strong drive to help her clients achieve great success with their health and fitness goals.
Kate Reid

Personal Trainer
As a certified personal trainer, Kate is passionate about all areas of health and fitness. From strength training and cardiovascular fitness to posture, core strength and flexibility, Kate has a personalised approach and is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their goals. Also passionate about nutrition, Kate is committed to helping her clients look and feel the best they possibly can!
Kate also brings many years of her own training experience to one personal health having competed for Victoria at the National Junior Triathlon championships as well as completing two half marathons and many more triathlons in recent years.
Tony Birrell

Musculoskeletal Therapist
Tony is a Musculoskeletal Therapist with over 20 years experience in the Health and Fitness industries. He puts his vast knowledge to use as both as a clinician and educator of therapists and personal trainers.
Tony has been involved with elite athletes at state, national and international levels. He has spent time with clubs in the AFL, NRL (including State of Origin) and elite athletes involved in sports such as swimming, hockey, track and field, golf and triathlon.
Tony has a focus on restoring normal function to the body and the development of a strong and stable environment to efficiently and effective progress training, allowing for increased and sustainable performance. This is achieved by way of sound clinical understanding, patient education and a team orientated approach to enable goals to be reached no matter how big or small.
Skye Boyland

Skye is a successful bodybuilder holding both state and national titles whose passion for fitness and training is unmatched within the industry. Skye specializes in body sculpting through muscular strength and conditioning, hypertrophy, management of bodyfat & nutrition.
Skye takes great pride in his calculated training style and is always at the forefront of new evidence based techniques, with his goal being to get the best possible result for his clients.

Emily Nisman

Personal Trainer
Emily has vast experience in the area of Fitness, Health and Wellness, with qualifications in Fitness and Personal Training as well as Hypnotherapy and is also currently studying to be a Naturopath. Her approach is holistic, encompassing both physical and mental aspects together to help each client achieve their desired outcomes. She is highly proficient in functional training, and has extensive knowledge utilising Kettlebells and Vipers to provide an overall strength and cardiovascular workout. She also has ten years experience as a Latin dance teacher, so if you're ever looking for tips on spins and dips don't hesitate to ask!
Chris Archer

Personal Trainer
Chris has been heavily involved in the fitness industry for over two decades, a Personal Trainer for over a decade and Pilates Instructor since 2008. After many years spent training as a body builder and powerlifter and already holding a Cert III and IV in fitness, Chris's Pilates journey began whilst working as a Personal Trainer in London. On his return to Australia he began his teacher training with Simply Pilates in 2008 and has now joined the One Personal Health team.
Among his many training achievements, Chris has worked as a pre-season conditioning coach for an AFL football squad, a conditioning coach for triathletes, personal teacher to an internationally acclaimed actress and helped many individuals improve overall body conditioning, overcome injury and improve various health related issues.
